American Stainless and Supply, a national process piping distributor, presented three $5,000 scholarships during the awards ceremony at the General Session Meeting of the 2007 FEW Ethanol Fuel Conference held in St. Louis Missouri. American Stainless, President & CEO, Gary Bulloch and Senior Sales Representative of the Ethanol Team, Rick Rafferty presented the awards to three very impressive individuals, consisting of college graduates and undergraduates, that were selected by BBI International after completing an application which also included a research paper, publications, presentations and letters of recommendation. During the award ceremony the winners were recognized for their educational achievements and goals of pursuing higher education and careers in the ethanol industry. The winners were Rachel Campbell, from Guelph, Ontario, Christopher Simmons, from Davis, CA, and Dawn Anderson, from Granite Falls, MN.
This year’s 23rd Annual Conference was dedicated to providing the ethanol industry with cutting-edge information, technology, products, services and research as well as new ideas for improving production efficiencies, product yields and profitability of ethanol facilities. With over 5,000 people in attendance, the Conference was considered a big success.
