American Stainless & Supply announced today that it has moved to its new facility in Cheraw, SC. “This is a good move for us,” says its President, Gary Bulloch, “We have grown so much that we have literally run out of room.”
Indeed, since Mr. Bulloch purchased the company 5 years ago, American Stainless has grown from 12 employees to over 70. “We knew that if we were to grow this company like we have, we would need to locate and hire the best talent,” says Bulloch, “and I think we’ve done a good job of that. We have the most industrial PVF sales experience in the industry under one roof. We just needed a bigger roof.”
They also needed a bigger roof to house all of their inventory. With six warehouses spread over 3 counties, shipping and receiving was becoming a logistics challenge. In addition to the 13,000 square feet of office space, the new facility will contain 150,000 square feet of warehouse space and sit on over 35 acres of land. That’s plenty of room for future expansion.
“All of our associates are very excited about this move,” says General Manager, Tom Sheeler, “We can’t believe it’s finally happening.”
